KaPeRs is fortunate to have the steady and continuous support of key partners since our founding in 1988.

KPNW Regional Administration:  The Regional President and members of the Regional Health Plan Executive Team have offered continuous financial and personal support  to KaPeRs since its inception.  We currently receive $20,000 annually from the Region to subsidize luncheons and support our programming.

KPNW Human Resources Leadership/Dept.:  The Human Resources Vice President has appointed HR staff over the years to assist KaPeRs in securing and maintaining new retiree lists, acting as liaisons regarding retiree benefit issues, administering the budget given KaPeRs by Regional Administration annually, and serving as the major link between KaPeRs and Regional Administration as our advocate.

KPNW Print Shop
:  The Print Shop has supported us in preparing, printing, and mailing our newsletter as well as special mailings since we were founded.

KPNW Community Benefit and Community Engagement Leadership:  During the past several years, KaPeRs has aligned its annual Community Giving efforts more closely with the Region’s Community Giving goals and beneficiaries which are based on ongoing assessments of greatest community need.  KaPeRs chooses its beneficiaries annually based on consultation with Regional CB leadership.

KP Cares:  KaPeRs has had a long-standing relationship with the Regional Employee Volunteer Program and Coordinator in efforts to encourage community volunteering by KPNW Retirees.   During 2017, KaPeRs appointed a Volunteer Program Chair who worked extensively with the Regional Employee Volunteer Manager, to link our efforts, update the KaPeRs website to link it directly to the Regional Employees volunteer opportunities, to coordinate regional efforts with Program efforts to build a Program-wide Retiree website.  Retirees can now, through the KaPeRs updated website and KP Cares website, volunteer in a variety of venues, engage in nurse mentoring, volunteer at the KPNW hospitals and selected ambulatory clinic sites, and the Hospice Program.

KaPeRs thanks KaiPerm
KaPeRs wishes to thank KaiPerm Federal Credit Union for their continuous support of our retiree group. Since January 2003, they have underwritten the paper and printing costs of the newsletters, as well as special mailings. In addition, they contribute items to our luncheon raffles. We are grateful for their support.
