RETIRED RNS NEEDED!!
Be a MENTOR FOR NEW RN GRADS

Leave a legacy to nursing with an opportunity to influence a new grad for the rest of their professional career. Our next class launches in September 2018. Please contact Nick Socotch RN, with your interest and questions.

You will spend a morning learning about mentorship and then during a catered lunch if you decide to commit to mentoring one of our new grads you’ll spend a couple of hours in the afternoon selecting your potential mentee (new grad RN). We are asking for a commitment of 1-2 hours per month meeting with your new grad RN via in person, skype, phone, etc. from February – July 2017.

Mentorship will be driven by the new grad and facilitated by the mentor. That means the new grad is responsible for setting up meetings, deciding what to discuss/share, and the mentor is to attend the meetings and coach/facilitate the conversations. Mentorship will focus on professional development/growth not RN practice. As the mentor will may be working with the new grad RN’s professional growth by helping them navigate the professional, social, and/or political environment found at any workplace. My role is helping support you in the mentor role.
